Exhaust Question

I have a 2010 RZR 800.
I found a guy that will trade me his 2011 RZR 800 stock exhaust for my aftermarket exhaust.
Will the whole 2011 system fit on my 2010 with no modifications?
Will it hurt the 2010 motor?

Thanks

It will fit with no modifications.

It sounds like you have an aftermarket exhaust currently. Do you know if you have an aftermarket fuel controller too. Sometimes (but not always) a fuel controller will be added with the exhaust to add more fuel since the aftermarket exhaust flowed more air. You could potentially end up too rich if there is a fuel controller.

It does have a DFR fuel controller and DFR air box. Duels are also Dragonfire.
When I bought the machine it had a low idle (850-900) and a little smoke so I had it worked on.
They reset the TPS to factory and adjusted the fuel controller so now it idles at 1250-1300 and no smoke.
Do you think I will need to adjust everything again if I switch the exhaust?
Do I need t keep the fuel controller since it has the aftermarket air box or should I remove it?
I have the stock air box I could put back on.
Also I should note that I plan to buy the SLP super silent muffler after installing the rest of the stock exhaust.
SLP claims 41% increased airflow and no fuel adjustment necessary.
My RZR also has a different cam and clutch and other possible motor upgrades. Does that make a difference for a fuel controller?
Guy I bought it from didn't have a specific list of all upgrades.
I am not real mechanical so regretting buying such a modified machine.......
Thank you for the help!

The only way to know for sure if you are too rich or too lean is an AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) gauge. Otherwise it's just a guess.

Here is my guess - with the cam plus airbox plus SLP plus 2011 headers (originals were shorter Y headers) plus ??? you still need the fuel controller. But I would dial your current fuel controller settings back a little. It may only need a small change. What are your settings now?

The clutch is typically tuned to an engines HP so may need adjustments AFTER you dial the engine in. It is possible it may not need any adjustment. See what your engagement RPM and max RPM's are to determine if you need to adjust.

TPS will not need to be adjusted again.

You understand that you most likely will loose a few horsepower.

Thanks
My old RZR didn't have all these extras so I honestly don't know what my controller is set at.
Local Power Sports dealer adjusted things for me.
Yes I know I may loose some horsepower but not a too big deal to me.
it is a fast fun machine but having a quiet ride for my kids is more important to me than the extra hp now.
Could the 41% increased flow of the SLP and the 2011 headers maybe make up for the hp I will loose by removing the duel exhaust?
At what RPM should the clutch engage?
What RMP Should I be at max speed?
