Re: lift kit prices

Jeff.....his feedback rating was only 1/3 of 1 percent bad (.033). Id say that's not a bad rating at all. Some people cant be pleased and others are a--holes. I know if I had seen this when I did my lift I would have tried it. No moving parts just steel and hardware. Might be worth a try

Re: lift kit prices

really when concerns or questions are not answered even replied to would be my biggest red flag.HL's price for brackets and bolts is crazy high.

Many E Bay dealers act just like this guy. Not uncommon at all or maybe it will take a little more time for him to reply Some of these sellers are really busy

Re: lift kit prices

I decided to take a chance on the 79.99 kit since it's what I was looking for and HL's price is just crazy. If it all works money saved for more mods elsewhere!!

Re: lift kit prices

I bought this a couple months ago https://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-2017-P...frcectupt=true for the wife's 570. I was afraid she wouldn't like it but come to find out she thinks it handles better with it! We went for a ride together and I can't tell the difference but I can tell that we aren't bottoming out as much on rocks or stumps. One minor problem I just saw this weekend was the front rims rubbed on the a-arm guards but so minimal it doesn't matter. Glad you decided on them jeffawats

Re: lift kit prices

.oO(I just gave my highlifter kit away lol)
With the HL kit on with aftermarket shocks, it was eating up valuable shock stroke. New tires (26's, that real world measure almost 26.5" with 10 psi) and the increased height gained from the bandit trail series, I have plenty of clearence. On my last ride, with the HL kit off, my shocks shocks didn't bottoming out a single time. Also, it reduced the angle of my axels, so hopefully my CV joints will last a bit longer.
My opinion on the highlifter is that they are fantastic on a stock setup if you can't get into a set of aftermarket shocks. Those stock shocks are a POS that sag like a 90 year old widow. It's a band-aid fix, just like heavy duty springs, but if you don't have the coin, they will get you by.
Back to my original statement; I gave my HL to the guy who bought my tires because he had a stock setup and I told him exactly what I just said above.

In your situation, a 2" lift will get you what you want. Your RZR won't continue to be an expensive rock finder. I didn't upgrade shocks until I was at 2k miles. At that point, sag was so bad, I had my springs at the highest preload setting.

Re: lift kit prices

The kit showed up today .Shipped from California so it came priority to Pa. The seller had emailed instructions right after I paid for the kit.The brackets are heavy duty zinc plated, very high quality kit.Glad I took the gamble for half the price of HL.I would recommend this kit if you are looking to save some coin there is absolutly no reason to pay the higher price of HL.
