No offense, but this isn't the "S 1000" sub-forum. This is the "General RZR > Projects and How-To" sub-forum, the "Let's see your Budget Mods" thread, with mods applicable to many different RZR models. Most of the model specific sub-forums have a DIY or mods thread.

The S 1000 sub-forum also has its own "What have you done to your 1000s today" thread, with installs, mods, and DIY stuff.

Re: Let's see your "Budget Mods"

Anybody familiar with the Ebay "STREET LEGAL LED TURN-SIGNAL KIT w/HORN UNIVERSAL FIT HONDA YAMAHA POLARIS SXS'S"?

It's only $80. Looks to be only lacking some wire and wire management stuff. Allot cheaper than the $250 kits that look virtually the same.

For $80, that almost looks like it's worth taking a chance with. I certainly wasn't going to spend $200 + on a kit when it's only about $75 worth of parts to build it yourself.

But it's irrelevant for me anyway since we can't run them on the street. I would only use it when I went to WV.

08 RZR 800- SATV +6 High Clearance LT kit, Rhino axles, 900 XP shocks, 900XP front bearing carriers, dual core radiator, QSC clutch, 30" Carnivores/STI HD6 wheels, 3500lb Polaris winch, LED headlights, 30" lightbar, 7" LED driving lights, EMP 1/2 windshield, Air box relocation w/ custom snorkels, SATV EPS, CycleWorx 65amp VR, BoeschBuilt parking brake, dual Venom whips

Re: Let's see your "Budget Mods"

Don't forget you'll have to buy all the wire too.
Looks like it has a toggle for each left and right
Unless you buy their other kit.
Signal kit
Ask @SuperATV for a coupon code.
They have the less expensive kits with a toggle switch.
IMO the toggles are a pita. Just get a column mounted stalk with hazards
No crimping of wires and plug n play.

SATV kits

I'm lucky enough to have access to a laser, press brake, and solidworks so I saw what you could get fir saddle boxes and was not impressed with the look nor the price. Here's where I at now. All test fitted and about ready to surface prep and paint! So far I'm pretty stoked on how it's turning out.
