RZR Pro Park Brake from Pro UTV Parts

HEAVY DUTY PARKING BRAKE FOR YOUR POLARIS RZR XP PRO LOCKING FEATURE - FITS ALL - BY SPRING BRAKE THINGY

DESCRIPTION
This brake allows for a pad-lock to be inserted through pre-machined holes to give you the added option to use as a theft deterrent.

Installation is simple and quick, back out the 15mm nuts on the master cylinder behind the brake pedal, put on the Spring Brake Thingy, then put the nuts back on. It is that simple and quick, takes no more than 2-3 minutes.

To operate, depress brake pedal with right foot, slide lever over brake pedal arm with your left foot and the SBT engages all 4 brakes. Once set, add your own pad lock (1/4" to 5/16" shaft) for that extra security. To release simply unlock pad lock, remove, and depress brake pedal.

Put it in park on a steep grade.... youíll find out quick.

Itíll bind up the gearcase and you damn near wonít be able to get it out of park, Iíve had to Jack a machine up on a steep grade to unbind it before, itís sketchy at best

-Give it a second... it had to go to space and back first ( Sent from the lifeline that is my iPhone XS Max )

+1
Any kind of parking brake is a good idea. The more often you park in gear on a hill the harder it gets to get it out of park. I noticed this after a few times when new.

I will add that the less complicated design will be problem free. I use mine so often it feels wrong not to have it. My cheap $25 unit has needed repairs, rivets fell out, but some hard bolts welded in are a permanent fix.

The factory should be offering one as standard equipment, but do wish it could be mechanical and work as emergency brake if hydraulic system fails. That happen to me when axle broke at threads. Read about that in a different post.

Bottom line, if you park on any ground that is not flat you need one.
