Good luck with that. Dealer reflash opens up a whole new can of worms. It's a voluntary recall and if you RZR is running good leave it alone. And if it's not running ok then get it reflashed from a vendor on the forum like EVO.

I'm not feeling the ECU reflash is needed. When I pull it on on polaris site it just says ECU reflash and no reasoning. My RZR is running fine and I'd hate to let them play with it if there is no real reason to.

Re: ecu reflash recal

Maybe this current one is a mandatory one but last one was not.

I did say maybe it's mandatory.

Re: ecu reflash recal

exactly just because you feel that's running fine does not mean its not needed ask call the companies that make exhaust systems they all say that the S 1000 runs lean from the factory ECU Flash so that definitely can be a source of heavy exhaust heat also on the page where you see the recall click on hyper link that will tell you more about it.

That is incorrect it is a mandatory recall it says do not operate your RZR until you the recall has been completed
The Flash's to prevent misfires so one would assume they're going to fatten it up a bit as it is it runs way too lean these machines in mid-range

I'll run it by for reflash tommorow. Anybody got a checklist of what I need to check before I leave the dealer after the reflash?

I'm probably the only one who's completely unconcerned and have no intention of stopping riding nor taking my machine in anywhere lol.
