I really like the way it looks, love the dimensions, seems like a pretty solid entry to the 1K market, price is a little high I think, but it has some reasons to justify the extra cost too. I’m not completely against it. It’s in the same league as the Talon. If I were in the market for a 1K machine, it’d be a serious consideration. The XP1K is outdated in the 1K platform in my opinion, but that’s why it keeps the lower price tag as well.

Agreed. I hope to see some HP numbers soon, would love to see it in the 140-150 range especially with that kind of weight, but guessing it will end up in line with the XP and Talon at 110-120. I like that it comes stock with 31" tires. Going to be a fun machine to watch develop.

I dig it. 19”/21” of actual wheel travel, no stupid “useable travel” claims. Comes standard with 2.5” Fox shocks front and back, bead locks and 31” Carnivores. Bed fits a 32” spare. High clearance suspension, front locker, half doors, CVT temp gauge. I bet the fit and finish is significantly better than Polaris. If they come out with a 4-seater and it proves durable I’d seriously look at one. I don’t care about the weight, durability is my primary concern. If it’s anything like the Teryx it will be bulletproof.

They even come with an emergency brake, Polaris still can’t figure that one out.

Reading through some of the PR stuff they comment on it having a centrifugal clutch behind the primary clutch. They say this is used to give you a smoother engagement of the primary clutch and the ability to engage the belt without slippage. Do any of you guys have any experience with this setup in a Teryx? I'd sure like to know how good this works. I've heard that the Teryx is a good solid machine with few problems but I'm wondering how it will hold up to the increased horsepower. It looks to be pretty well thought out and has lots of good features.

I've owned two Teryx's 2014 2 seat and 2016 4 seat. I now have an xp1k 4 seat. I can tell you that the Kawasakis were dead nuts reliable and tough, though my rzr has been thus far as well. The clutching in the Teryx is leaps and bounds ahead of the rzr imo. Smooth engagement and engine braking is perfect. Also never blew a belt and both machines were within factory spec at 2500 miles. I just got sick of waiting on Kawi to produce a competitive machine. I don't hate their 1000, but it doesn't have me sold. That said, I'm sure it will be a great machine.

The integral centrifugal clutch is essentially the same as a duraclutch in operation, and what Yamaha, Kawasaki, and suzuki have been using on their belt drives since the beginning. It is a far superior design functionality and for belt preservation than what Polaris and Canned-Ham use. With the centrifugal clutch there is no belt slippage because the belt is always engaged. Only under the most severe abuse situations will the belt be able to slip. Yes, you can add this type of clutch to most RZRs, but it’s also $2k.

They look sick for sure,,, to bad no turbo option from factory, same as what Honda did and while I dig the Talon not having a OEM turbo is a bit of a let down. The KRX coming factory with 31s ones though and tuned for them most likely gives it a nice advantage to any other NA machines.

I like it...but pretty hefty for 112 hp.
Pretty similar really to my XX- but 4 inches longer...better clutch engagement. Suspension looks great right out of the box. (XX is great right out of the box also) Suspension parts look heavy duty...I like that also.
31's.

Looks like a solid car...except for a weak cage...at least in the front section.
