Re: Odes dominator

That is amazing that a ''factory'' would consist of 5 people and hand tools for a production facility.

Re: Odes dominator

Yeah, all the vehicle parts would come in various states of assembly in big boxes from China. And then they just put them together. Maybe there was more to it than that, but this is what we saw.

Re: Odes dominator

I had 3 Odes. They are a Rhino body, Rhibo 4x4 system and clone Can Am Outlander 800cc motor. Strong engine runs about 60-62mph. They had over heating issues, tranny issues in the past. The bushings are weak...

Re: Odes dominator

Well, I can tell you as a FORMER odes dealer these things are total crap! The company I work for bought 18 of these things, what a mistake! We sold 16 of them and had 47 warranty claims on them in 6 months!! The company is a total joke to deal with. At one point I had to wait 17 weeks for a water pump seal!! Clutches falling off, bolts breaking, motors blowing up, wheel bearings going out at less than 100 miles, electrical fire, steering knuckle broke and caused the owner to hit a tree, it went on and on. These idiots don't have a clue about customer service, most rude people we ever dealt with. We have been in business since 95 and never had any complaints, since selling these we have been reported to the better business bureau 5 times by people that bought these things because they sat in our shop forever waiting for odes to send us parts!!! Were not talking days or even weeks but, months to get parts. And forbid if you do need wheel bearings, they don't warranty them even at only 62 miles, like one customer had. Please, stay away from them - total junk!! My 2 cents worth.

Usa Re: Odes dominator

Yes I own an 800cc Dominator. It is a 2015 model. I did a lot of research before I bought. I also did my homework by looking at different brand name side by side and test drove them. Polaris, Kubota, Kawasaki, Honda, John Deere and all had there good and bad. When i looked at the Odes Dominator, the earlier year models were junk so I was told. However, in 2013-14, the Odes were were assembled in California and quality "greatly improved" but were manufactured in China. But so is everybody else. except Kawasaki and Honda I looked at.
The frame on the Odes is heavier built than everyone else. Plus the add ons features are costly when I looked at the competition. Odes makes it standard equipment. Guess what, the competition buys there add- ons from China.
I am a hunter and have a ranch in West Texas in the hill country. My place has steep hills and canyons that are extremely rocky. I had no problem climbing. My unit is not completely broke in but have had it "briefly" upward speed of 55mph and had more room to go. It did not take it long to get there either. My unit is not suppose to be a racer but Odes does have them. The 800engine cc seems to be a heavy torque Can Am clone.

Wrench Re: Odes dominator

I have a 2014 Odes LZ800 UTV and I am having an issue with the electrical. For some reason the ground is hot. I have checked all possible safety switches to see if they are faulty and not allowing the ignition to start it. It only makes a clicking sound.

Any advice or help would be great!!
Thank you

Re: Odes dominator

we purchased a 2018 Odes in March. At this time it has been in the shop more than we have had it. We are very unhappy. If it says ODES, RUNNNN.

Re: Odes dominator

Odes are total garbage, Stay Away!!!! I have a buddy that had a 2018 Zeus 1000 that totally burned to the ground last month due to a defective fuel pump/fuel line connection. His insurance company is going after Odes, I say good luck with that. I will stick to my RZR XP-1000...….
