Re: Going to lost trails tomorrow

Yeah Iíve been there 4 or 5 times. Iím in Southbury. Takes me about 2hr15m to get there. Probably only take you 3hrs.

The trails are ok. They are quite rocky and twisty. Thereís some mud and creek crossings. With the XP you can spend most of the time in low range. There are a few places you can get moving but they donít last long and there are lots of whoops in those sections. It does have a lot of neat features to stop and look at. It was a minimg site at one point so there are old foundations, a reservior with an earthen damn you can ride across, and an old tunnel you drive through which is probably over 200í long. Lot of stuff to play around on.

I like it cause itís an easy drive and I can do it in a day without spending the night anywhere. Iím planning to go out to AOAA sometime in September if youíre interested...or anyone else for that matter. I was out there 2 weeks ago at Line Mountain for the races they hold, which is right around the corner. Thatís a 3hr45min drive.😕

I live about 15 minutes down the road from there. Place is always packed on the weekends. Its also a major dealer for the area with a parts store. I've never rode there cuz we go to parks where u can camp. But the trails the area are similar to the park. Rocky! Nice features and nice scenery.

Well, had a good time today. Really got on the XP for the first time and this thing is impressive. It just swallows everything. Did about 40 miles and came out soaking wet! LOL

Lost Trails is an OK place. I live 10 minutes away. It’s expensive for the amount of land they have. There are better places to ride within a 1.5 hour drive.

Also North American Warhorse is the dealer there. Overpriced, don’t want to negotiate, charge setup up and travel fees and then if you ask for financing they come back with a ridiculous high interest rate even if you have perfect credit. Only would by parts there in an emergency because it’s so close, otherwise I’ll buy on Amazon Prime and wait 2 days. There are better dealers in the area.

Unfortunately i traveled for my 2018 Ride Command. No local dealer could match or come close to Carns Equiptment in a Clearfield.

If it’s not the weekend myself and a few friends are going to New Hampshire to Ride the Wilds I may join
