Re: Phoenix rides

The PV run to Williams Saturday was a great time. Pleasure to meet everyone.
Thanks to Dan for putting it together!
Look forward to another ride.

Re: Phoenix rides

Agreed to that 100%. Thanks to Dan for organizing and Rob for providing the staging and hospitality. When do we ride again?

Re: Phoenix rides

This is tonight:

https://www.blm.gov/press-release/tw...anagement-plan

https://eplanning.blm.gov/epl-front-...0003e880ed63df

Attend Public Meetings for the Draft Black Canyon Corridor Travel Management Plan!
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Hassayampa Field Office has issued a press release announcing that it will hold two public meetings to gather input on the draft Black Canyon Corridor Travel Management Plan. The plan encompasses Black Canyon City, Mayer, New River and Dewey-Humboldt in Yavapai and Maricopa counties.

Under the Proposed Action, approximately 211.6 miles (42%) of the travel network would be designated as "open," 186.4 miles (29%) would be designated as "limited" and 107.5 miles (21%) would be designated as "closed." These designations apply to the BLM portions of travel routes only and do not affect the status of routes on non-BLM lands.

Public Meetings
May 2nd, 6 - 8 p.m.
Deer Valley Community Center, 2001 W. Wahalla Lane, Phoenix, AZ

May 3rd, 6 - 8 p.m.
Mayer High School (old library), 17300 E. Mule Deer Dr., Spring Valley, AZ

At the open house-style meetings, maps of the travel network alternatives will be available for review and BLM staff will be available to answer questions and receive comments.

Comments
The 30-day public comment period is from April 23rd until May 22nd.

Stakeholders are encouraged to submit comments online. Comments may also be emailed to [email protected], faxed to (623) 580-5580 or mailed to Hassayampa Field Office, 21605 N. 7th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85027.

Re: Phoenix rides

Keep an eye out for me, I need a UMP Air-filter setup for 2013 XP4 900. Most online places are showing backorder. Let me know if you see one laying around a shop somewhere in town.

Re: Phoenix rides

Tonto National Forest has issued specific area closures effective on Wednesday 5-23-2018. Four Peaks and Mount Ord are included in the closure.

If you plan on riding anywhere in the Tonto National Forest you might want to call the ranger station before you go to make sure the area is open.

I think we're done for the season, or at least until we get some rain.

Don't put an oil foam filter on your RZR. They are not good at filtering fine dust like we have here in Arizona. You WILL dust your engine eventually. Google it and do some research. There many threads also on this forum of disasters.

Headed to Alamo Lake 1/4/19. Last year could not find the rabbit hole across the river to get to the canyon. Does anybody have any coordinate to the rabbit hole so maybe this year I can do the canyon. Help greatly appreciated.

Paul, burning a smudge pot this year? Have 5 gallons of trans fluid if that will work.
