Moab: March 20- 24 40 ft. Toyauler Camp Site?

Planning my first trip to Moab with a stock XP900. We are camping with a 41 ft. toyhauler and would like to camp next to a good scenic trail head entrance like Hells Revenge, Fins & Things, Determination Towers etc.

We are self contained but would prefer water & electricty hookups if feasible.

Would like hear some recommendations as to where one should camp ?

Hells Revenge and Fins and Things are in Sand Flats Recreation Area. They have camping there, but no idea how long of camper the sites can take or whether they have hook ups.

Unfortunately they have only a few large enough and don't take reservations. It appears as though I may have to take down camp to haul the RZR to a trailhead entrance every day.

if you camp north of town by Gemini Bridges there is a camp area you can fit in and ride from or stay at the Archview RV Park and ride out of there.

Re: Moab: March 20- 24 40 ft. Toyauler Camp Site?

When I was in Moab about five years ago I rented a flatbed trailer for five days and used it to haul rzr to some different trails. Our neighbors at the campground had a Rhino that was modified to be street legal so it was not a problem for them to ride on streets. get the trail book by Charles Wells. I would get the one for jeeps vs the one for 4 wheelers. I camped in town and took a chance and rode on the side of the rode a few blocks to get the book from the tourist center and police pulled me over and gave me a warning since I was not street legal.

I always stay at Archview, lots of riding right out of the campground. you will need to trailer to get to the trails you mentioned.

Re: Moab: March 20- 24 40 ft. Toyauler Camp Site?

Last September my group stayed at Archview RV resort. Plenty of room for big trailers and at night very quite. You can hit 7 mile rim and a few other trails right across the street from Archview. The trails you mentioned you will have to trailer to if not street legal. There are some places in town ( 9miles ) that rent trailers. Can't wait to go back to Moab, and would stay at Archview again.

We got reservations for Archview. Made the decision to take a smaller camper this way we could pull a flatbed in tandem and bring a backup ride.
