MTX Audio Ride Command Adapter

We now have an adapter available which will allow you to pull the audio signal from the Ride Command source unit and send it to other aftermarket amplifiers and speakers when adding to the system.

Re: MTX Audio Ride Command Adapter

The Ride Command source has an output but this adapter uses that output and adapts the plug style to the more common RCA jack that can be used to add aftermarket amplifiers to power additional speakers.

You can purchase it through any authorized MTX Audio retailer or directly from MTX.com here - https://www.mtx.com/polaris-ridecomm...-range-adapter

Re: MTX Audio Ride Command Adapter

Product pic? And your price point of $39.95 is higher than your competition by a good amount. I would adjust if you guys can to be more competitive or is there an advantage to yours over what is already out there?

Re: MTX Audio Ride Command Adapter

It was just put up on the website today so they are working on getting a pic uploaded to the page as well. I personally have not seen the adapter yet but I do know it is higher priced than other competitive models. More details to come ASAP.

Re: MTX Audio Ride Command Adapter

Will this function any different than the MB Quart one? rc1-2rca-f

Or should I use 2 of those and 1 of yours? (MTX site says this is for output 3, while that mb-quart one seems to reference output 1 and 2)

Or do I only need one of these?

Re: MTX Audio Ride Command Adapter

As I understand it, the Ride Command system has 3 pairs of preamp outputs. 1 pair of preamp outputs are for channels 1 and 2. Another pair of preamp outputs are for channels 3 and 4. And the last pair of preamp outputs are for channels 5 and 6. Each preamp output has non-adjustable crossover points programmed into the source unit.

Channels 1 and 2 - Fixed high pass crossover that starts to roll off at 200Hz

Channels 3 and 4 - Fixed high pass crossover that starts to roll of at 200Hz

Channels 5 and 6 - Fixed low pass crossover 48dB/octave slope at 100Hz

We recommend using preamp output 3 (channels 5 and 6) to get a little more low end. These channels will provide more midbass frequencies than the high pass crossover channels.

Once you get the audio signal out of the Ride Command source unit and have adapted it to RCA's, you can split that signal as many times as you need. As I understand it, the only reason you would need more than 1 adapter is if you were running more than 1 amplifier and wanted to send the low pass audio signal to one amp and the high pass audio signal to another.

Hope this makes sense.

Re: MTX Audio Ride Command Adapter

I just had the dealer install the ride command on my 2017RZR Turbo with the mtx stage 4 system and it sounds terrible! I have virtually no bass and the front and rear speakers are on one channel. When I open up the fade and send sound to only the front speakers there is no sound, but all 4 speakers come on when move the dial to the rear speakers. Not sure if this was installed correctly. Any advice?
