Razor won't go forward

Need some help guys. My brother was driving his 2010 rzrs thru a mud hole and decided to back out when it got to deep. After he backed out he could not get his rzr to move forward again. It will go into reverse and move fine but gets nothing in forward. Didnt make any type of noise and was pulling fine all day. Shift linkage seems to be moving ok. Any help would be great
Thanks
Jody
