Light scatches

Any one out there have any good suggestions to remove scratches from a RZR;s paint.

I have a 2012 RZR S and someone drew on my machine after hitting some dusty trails. I can't seem to get the scratches out. I have tried many different types of wax. But the marks continue to be a pain in the rear.

Any Ideas.

Thank.

Re: Light scatches

Use that persons face to wipe the scratches off! Try a light buffing compound and an orbital buffer.

2012 RZR 800 LE Magnetic Metallic - RacerTech 2" lift, Makin Trax progressive springs, 1" SATV spacers, Polaris ESP, Polaris doors, 12" STI HD3 wheels with 27x9 BigHorns all around, Rear cab frame extension, Tractor Tunes stereo, and the list goes on and on....

Re: Light scatches

Try a heat gun, theres a how-to somewhere on this site. I've done it on mine but really had nothing to lose by trying.

Re: Light scatches

Heat gun or have even used a propane torch on occasion. Be careful.

Re: Light scatches

SInce you said paint do not use a torch or similar. All wax will do is fill in the scratches for a short time. To be safe get some scratch X for paint. It will remove most light scratches without to much chance of further damaging the paint. Use a good microfiber towel and following the instructions on the Scratch X.
