Orange madness went for a swim! NEED HELP!

My new Rzr S orange madness went for a swim like I said, going down a river and went into a unexpected deep hole, the machine shut off, so I immediately jumped out and got her onto dry land engine was only under water for about 45 seconds or so, but after getting it home and tearing it apart I pulled off air filter which was soaked, removed cvt cover there was little water in there but there was and pulled plugs, and drained engine oil, transmission, and transfer case, didn't seem to have any water in any of the oils but did have water in my Cyclinders, I cranked it over and had some water shot out my plug holes, I have had it in my heated garage and a dehumidifier running next to it for two days and it has taken a good bit of water from it, any thing anyone can tell me to help me fix this right would be greatly appreciated, I am mechanically inclined so shoot away! Thanks

Re: Orange madness went for a swim! NEED HELP!

Fill and drain several times to make certain the water is out.
There are several explanations of how to do this on the site...
When you do start it the 1st time, run it for a bit and then do one final drain and fill.
If the drain is clean, fill and keep moving....

Stay dry my friend....

Re: Orange madness went for a swim! NEED HELP!

don't forget to drain your gas tank. it might not hurt to fog your cylinders while it is sitting to keep them from rusting. you can get the fogger oil in the boat section at walmart

Re: Orange madness went for a swim! NEED HELP!

Is it just engine fogging? Is it spray? Or liquid?

Re: Orange madness went for a swim! NEED HELP!

What can I use for the front and rear diffs instead of Polaris stuff? Is it 75w 90 gear oil?

Not sure on the back I believe some run mobile 1 synthetic gear oil but the front is very finicky with the electronic awd. I recommend the Polaris oil on the front.

Re: Orange madness went for a swim! NEED HELP!

Ok I will get from dealer! I took mid pipe off nothing in that! The exhaust muffler had a good bit of water in it but I couldn't get it completely out of the frame! I could move it around enough to get pretty well all the water out! Removed the spark arrestor and that seemed to catch any crud the tried to get in. Cleaned that, I am wondering where it was not in the water very long did much get in The diffs? Also coolant I don't think much would of went in there either? Any thoughts?

Just keep flushing the oil in the engine. Go buy some cheap oil and do it over and over. You will only need 2-3 filters. But get enough oil to change it upto 8-10 times. Good luck it'll be fine.

If it went over the hood then more then likely it could have gotten water through the vent hole on the cap for overflow bottle. I would just flush All fluids real good and ride it some. Also diesel fuel is good at getting water out of the riffs a d tranny and alot cheaper then oil. Id run a few flushes of diesel then fill it back up with polarize oil. Just keep a look on the fluids

Re: Orange madness went for a swim! NEED HELP!

No it didn't go over hood just for a moment, the engine was under for about 45 seconds I jumped out immediately and got it to dry land it was hard but me and my brother managed somehow! So I should put drain plugs Back in fill to proper level then drain everything and do this a few times? After a few times try and get it running?

Re: Orange madness went for a swim! NEED HELP!

And put a little drop of oil on top of pistons and maybe rotate primary clutch to work the pistons up and down?
