Accessories retailer concerns

Im from Canada and I understand the concerns with using abs piping
For snorkeling. I went with "snorkle your ATV" snorkle kit because they claim they use PVC piping in the risers and is scratch proof because it is black plastic. So I ordered it and when it came in The paint is scratched in many places and there is only maybe 4 pieces on the whole kit that is actually PVC pipe and the rest is spray painted abs white pipe with runs in it. I'm not sure if this is the kind of equiptment they sell or if I just got a crap kit? If any one had this problem let me know cuz I am completely confused how I paid 250 dollars for this junk

Re: Accessories retailer concerns

Send it back and go to Home Depot and buy the parts yourself for less than $100

Re: Accessories retailer concerns

The one i got from snorkel your atv is same way. They claimed it was black abs pipe but i got white pvc painted black. I scratched it installing it. Real shitty in my opinion, but there seems to be a lot of retailers selling junk for razors and claiming its the best.

Re: Accessories retailer concerns

No offence guys, but why pay so much for these kits when you can purchase the needed parts for a fraction of the cost?

Re: Accessories retailer concerns

I read the " home made snorkle kit" and went out and bought the necessary parts and found the Canadian PVC elbows are different sizes and length from the US. So by the time I had enough parts to adapt it I was in for about 120 dollars, that's with the 2" couplers at 8 dollars a piece, and it was too many pieces and didnt look right. I thought I would just try the "pre-fabed" snorkle kit, it wouldn't have been that bad if they made a "half" decent kit
