Nm Flag Ride in the woods ,You need tree Kickers !!!

Hi all this weekend we did a 140 mile ride from New Mexico to Colorado ,on one of our rides we encountered a very large fallen tree (to big for our chain saw) We had to go up and around it and then turn down quickly to get back on the trail .Basically a quick u turn on the side of the mountain .After the 800 in front of us could not make the climb ,we took a run at it ,we both made it up and turned ,the guy in front of me stopped forcing me to brake on the side of the hill ,Well gravity took over and i slid into the huge hole left by the tree falling over .That actually save me from going over completely .The utv inc tree kickers Hit the bottom of the tree roots stopping any damage to the plastics .got a small dent in the door .The tree kickers also provided a leverage point for my friends to stand on to help me get off the mountain .Great product .They did the job ,

At 1:03 of the video you will see the 800 fail to make it up .The pictures tell the rest of the story .

Nice Frank. Looks like a nasty situation. That's at least a few full rolls to the bottom there. Not a fan of those situations.

Re: Ride in the woods ,You need tree Kickers !!!

Frank,

What I'd like to know is where is the trail? Used to go to the Memorial Day Red River Run from 1983 to 2008 on a Harley. Really like that area.

Would like to know more.

Thanks,

Pirate
