Also recommend removing front swaybar. Removing rear makes the ride too unstable at higher speeds IMO.

I need a low speed goat instead of a fast runner.
glad to help! as for the 570 or 800.... can't say on that one. i have a '10 model, so no comparison that i can make to the 570.... read where they are VERY stout on the bottom end! i haven't driven one yet, but i'd like to. i'd really like to find a dealer to put the same model 800 next to a 570 to test them both with in a few seconds of each other!

one thing that appeals to me is the going price on the 570's! heck of a starting point for a sporty sxs.... heck if you look at most 5 or 600cc atv's they are going for just a few hundred less than a 570.

"me personally" i'm looking to add a 570 for the wife as well.... BUT if you can get a heck of a deal on a left over 800, then you'll have to make a judgement call!

Also keep in mind the 570 is a single cylinder and the 800 is a v twin with much more torque.

Re: Thinking bout buying a rzr

Does anyone know the torque ona 800 vs a 570? I saw where the hp was 38 for an 800 and 35 for a 570. Didn't think about the torque until scottrod mentioned it. Thanks

Re: Thinking bout buying a rzr

Just figure on taking your base price by a factor of 1.6, that ought to tell you about what you will have invested in it at the end of the first year.

You will then be very satisfied with your ride.
