How long did it take you to replace your front/rear bushings?

My bushings are shot (3500 miles). I have a pretty good idea on how to replace them and have service manual, just wanted to get an idea on how long I should expect it to take me. I'm replacing upper and lower, front and rear. Plus two ball joints.
Thanks

Do you have a lift? it will save your back if you do.

I think it took me about 2 hours, but I did lots of cleaning and greasing along the way.

Re: How long did it take you to replace your front/rear bushings?

Figure it will take a night after work and a couple beers. Pull the nose off, pull the wheels off, move some brake lines around and start pulling off the a-arms. It's fairly nasty so get some rubber/disposable gloves to work with and start pulling them apart. The rear requires some parts to be removed, but none of it is too difficult. IDK, figure 3 hours to work through it the first time. Huge difference when you're done. Ball joints will take some more time. I'd take a serious look at your tie-rod ends too. Can almost guarantee they're shot too.

FunRide has it about right. It took me about 4 hours but I am a notorious piddler. It really is quite an easy job.

Take a hole saw and cut about a 2" hole in in the nose plastic (on each side) that lines up with the top A arm bolt. Then you can run an extension through there and remove the bolt w/o taking the front end off.

thanks guys, and yes I am using a lift as long as it will fit on it. Hope the RZR isn't too small for it.

What do guys use for lifts? I have tried researching it, but it seems there is not really a lift for a side by side. ATV and motorcycle lifts are too small.

Why would you remove the front plastics? It isn't necessary. Just remove the nut, slide bolt until it hits the plastic and them angle aarm down and slide off. I converted mine from a 50" to a super atv +6 and never removed my plastics.

Don't. Just lift it up with a floor jack and rest it on jack stands off the factory skid.

Yep did mine one evening . Spent more time cleaning parts than dissassembly and reassembly. Didnt pull any plastic. Its close but it can be done.
