I am a 55 year old Rzr lover, I raced MX all of my younger life, MX is my true first love, however the injury probability with dirt bikes finally made me stop riding. I was fortunate during my MX and trail riding days and was never injured badly, I did break my hand once, wrist once, left collarbone once, right collarbone 4 times, and both knees are shot. My wife told me once that she didnt see why I enjoyed dirt bikes so much, seeing as how I was always hurting myself. Fast forward to 2010, I went with a friend to ride in his RZR S, never seen one before and in all honesty wasnt expecting much in the way of thrills, needless to say I was mistaken in my expectations. We rode that thing all day long and he did everything within his powers to scare me and was fairly succesfull at times. We rode trails, climbed hills, Hauled a$$ down creek beds, you name it we did it, after 5 hours of riding we loaded it up and headed home, all bones intact, no damage to the rzr, I was sold. Went home and after a week of me raving about the RZR, my wife finally said that if I was that excited about it then I needed to get one.
A few weeks later I had a 2010 RZR S. The following weekend the wife and I headed to the riding area, she had never ridden off road in any way at that point. We strapped in and started off on our new hobby. Fast forward to 2012, Thanks to that fatefull day in 2010, my wife has now learned first hand why I enjoyed dirt bikes, maybe not 100% the exact same but close enough, she is able to get out in the woods and feel the excitement of going WFO through the trails, climbing hills, hanging out with friends and bench racing. She has only "rev limited" me once or twice and that was a long time ago, now she just hangs on, We have been upside down twice and stuck a time or two, She is the only one that will volunteer to ride with me, all of my buddies are good for one ride. We have both hit our knees on the dash and had some sore shoulders from harnesess digging in, but that has been the extent of our physical pain. Thanks Polaris for the RZR.
