Re: Don't get a Polaris winch!

Not to nay say but I have had the same PoPo winch on 2 RZRs over 3 1/2 years and its still working fine. I havent had to use it to do recoveries a whole lot but its done everything from pull my stuck butt out of mud holes and snow, winch downed trees out of the way, pull other people out of mud holes, and pull a jeep out once with a my snatch block and tackle. That one was a bit scary.

I have had the remote switch get corroded and need to be cleaned once. It stopped working until I pulled it apart and cleaned it. That happened after I dropped it in the water/mud.

I used the winch for plowing for 3 winters as well. 2 of which were heavy winters and this last one was very light. This is plowing a 1000 ft long driveway. Its operated just fine.

I have owned Warns before, but with steel lines. Warns are good too. Never again on steel though. Synthetic is the way to go.

I guess I just got a good one.

I got it off and the drum had actually broke. After a week battle I got my dealer to warranty it for a new one. I all ready put a warn in its place. If anyone wants a full Polaris kit for a 900 xp ill sell this for $350. Comes with the 900xp mount, winch, and all the wiring brand new

no issues with mine....used it dozens of times. actually never really for my machine either.
My last Polaris winch worked great. Plowed with it for two years ( up and down many times) and it worked without issue.

Re: Don't get a Polaris winch!

I'm surprised all you guys haven't discovered the SuperWinch 3500 yet; big metal gears, heavier windings on the armature, sealed-up tight, etc, etc. Far superior to all this other Chinese and knock-off crap. Check them out............

Cheers
