How many would have bought something else?

Reading another thread, it got me to thinking... (really unsafe for me) but how many of you bought a rzr and wish they had bought an S or an XP.

I ask because I went from a Commander which was too big to a standard rzr (which was too small) to a mid travel kit. (just right)

So a few questions for a poll.

Do you wish you had bought something else? (a different model)

Do you wish you had bought another brand?

Did you modify your rzr so much that it doesn’t matter, you have what you wanted.

Great question! I bought my std 50" cuz that's what I could afford and wouldn't change it if I had the option. I've done everything on it myself and got to know it pretty good.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

Have an S...really great for our riding. Love the XP motor, but not the width. Hope polaris does something about that soon! (hint hint, S with XP motor or similiar!)

Didn't vote. I bought a standard and am happy with it as it is.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

Kind of want an xp but I hate towing trailers so the s is fine. More power would be nice but I'm satisfied.

14 scrambler 1000, 28 mega mayhems on 14" sixr wheels, qsc clutched on hardest setting
14 Ace, 26" pro comp extremes on 14" msa m17 elixer wheels, total blast!
And a 600rwhp 03 powerstroke on 37" mud grapplers to haul it all
13 fx4 a/p on 35"grapplers, 6.2l

No option for "I'm happy with what I bought, would do it again", but that's me.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

Would of rather had a different brand of machine but there is nothing even remotely close to the RZR available.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

Started out with a 50"er, put some tires and wheels on it, put an "S" conversion kit on it, sold it and bought an XP. My 800 ended up being as wide as my XP, so the width isn't new, just the little bit of wheelbase that I haven't noticed too much yet. Basically after owning three different machines, I enjoy the XP the most. The 50" model was a blast though and if I lived in a place that had a lot of restricted trails, that's what I would own.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

I wish they had more competition. I bought the RZR for the "performance" aspects, I had the 50" standard and was content riding on the edge for 9 months, then I decided I wanted a LOT more performance, so I broke out the grinder and welder... the rest is history. It will probably be unveiled this week. I couldn't afford the "competition" to what I have now, I figure I have about $14k into mine, plus a LOT more time than I would like to admit. If I were to sell it, i think I would go WildCat, seems like a good platform to start with: you can up the power for relatively cheap, the suspension is most of the way there already.

Interesting point. Anybody wish they had a ranger? I do sometimes. Haul wood. Spray the yard. Haul the dog. Etc. i know guys do all if this in rzrs. But not quite the same.
