Started with a 50' like so many others. I was having a blast with the rzr. Mainly got the 50 instead of the rzr s bc at the time there was 5k diff and one couldnt afford it and 2 didn't think it was worth it. Then found a nice used s suspension and that was ŕwesome. Now i was just missing power which i solved after i installed a weber turbo. Now I've got my ride exactly how I wanted but could really use 2 more seats. I see a razor 4 xp in the near future.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

When I bought my 800 le s (nov 2010) I was very happy... Chose it over the 1000 commander. I was VERY happy with my choice until jan 1st 2011 when I saw the XP.. I was not happy with my dealer or polaris (i know why they did what they did). Still a little bitter about it! With that being said, I am very happy with my 800 s and the fact is the xp wasn't out when I bought so it wasn't an option. Since then I have got it set up pretty well and with the future addition of a turbo my appetite for power will be feed.

Sure does make sense. I love the Yamaha constant tension belt system on my Grizzly. The Polaris belt drive/tranny seems lacking. The Polaris engine doesn't seem to be such an issue. I suppose the Polaris "engine behind seat patents" will keep Yamaha from competing with RZR for awhile. I avoided the Polaris quads because of belt system, linked front/rear brakes, and my perception of reliability. But regardless, I could be ready to make the jump to Polaris RZR if they announce a 2013 RZR800 ProStar.

Never would have bought any atv/utv that was on the market until I started looking at these. There is still nothing else on the market I would consider.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

I wanted an XP, but was regulated to a standard RZR due to not being able to have a trailer where I currently live, and the standard fits in the back of my truck. Now it has a 2" lift, 27's, snorkels, etc. I just wish I had the clearance of the XP and the motor, but im happy with what I have.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

I bought my 2009 le in the spring of 10' used (300 miles) because that is what I could afford to do at the time. It fits on all of our trails in NH and Maine legally and I love it. I would love to have the ground clearance of the s model but the width is a bit too much . today I just ordered new springs. I have put some money into it since I bought it and I am more than happy with it. The best part of all........I now own it!!!!!!! So to me, a std rzr that I own is way better than upgrading and having a payment book.

None of the above. I bought what I wanted, never looked back. Even today, I'm still thrilled with my choice...I wouldn't change a thing.

X however many... Bought the S, and that's what works here and darn pleased with the purchase/expense I think it's funny that it wasn't an option.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

I bought the 50" LE and love it. I like the narrow 50" trails that a 54" will not fit through. No desire to go wider. Has all the power that I need for trial riding.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

I have owned everything:
Indian 100
Honda ATC 200
Yamaha DT 400
Honda XR 250
Yamaha Warrior
Honda 250r

But never have had as much fun as I do with my RZR. Bought one of the very first 50" and upgraded to an S last year. Nothing else even comes close.

Re: How many would have bought something else?

Well, just home from the 2012 Rally on the Rocks.

Artic Cat was the sponsor with their new machine. I really like the locker front axle. But is has very little ground clearance, hit bottom a lot during test drive on their rock pile. Has the turning radius of an aircraft carrier. A friend went off the road several times on test track. Those on rides had to back once or twice to make sharp turns.

Saw a few Can-Am Commanders on the trail. Was amazed at how hard it is to keep front end on the slickrock when climbing. Don't know if it was caused by too much stuff in the bed and trunk.

Seemed that there were only a few Yamaha and Kawasaki SXS's at the rally.

There were way more RZRs that anything else on every ride...way cool!! Many were like mine and have been heavily modified, but that's the fun part!!!

My 2009 LE was the right decision!!!
