Re: Let them drive?

Anybody I know is going to take care of it and won't likely drive it as hard as I would, although my best friend did roll my wife's machine without any damage so maybe he rode it a little harder. I own a landscaping company and let people I don't even know run more expensive equipment than my RZR, so I'm willing to trust my friends with my toy.

Re: Let them drive?

i do if i know the person treats stuff they way it should be treated but i also throw the fact that if they break it they buy it or pay the fees to get it fixed by a certified mechanic.............. i normally stay in the passenger seat only because when my rzr was 2 days old my twin brother rolled it while i was at work..... the wife gave him the key so i now take both keys with me everywhere

Re: Let them drive?

I'll let my wife and kids drive it on occasion...generally staying within my sight. Friends and Family, rarely. I am really particular how my stuff is treated and I don't want it getting beat up at my expense. As others have mentioned, seems many wouldn't pay to fix it if they screwed it up.

Re: Let them drive?

If you can afford to fix it and I know you will then you can drive it.

Re: Let them drive?

Wife and Daughter. Once if you're a close friend and know that you will fix anything you break. After the first time, buy your own. I too have other family members that will never drive my toy with or without me in the passenger seat. They're just too stupid and lack respect for others equipment.

Had a "friend" roll my wifes brand new KFX400 in the dunes which put a nice white crease in the rear fender. "Sorry". Sorry my a$$.

People can buy their own stuff. If they can't afford it then get a better job. If that doesn't work then don't get involved with something you'll never be able to afford. I don't hang out around private jets for a reason.................

Re: Let them drive?

I answered yes but only when I am in the passenger seat..It costs too much to fix to depend on someone else to fix it if they break it and if im in the passenger seat I can consider myself at fault just as if Im driving...IMO

Re: Let them drive?

I will let just about anybody in camp with us take it out for a drive/ride. If it breaks while you are in care of it you damn well better be right there next to me handing me beers and possibly money while i am fixing it, that is if your hands aren't too greasy already. If you don't offer to help fix or possibly pay for what broke then that will be your last drive/ride of anything i own.

Only people that can take it on there own for a weekend when i am not going to be there is Dad, maybe my brother with a deposit of his rhino or something haha!!!

i forgot to mention that i carry liability insurance on it just to be safe.
