I love my 2 xp turbos but...

I just picked up at 2020 maverick xrc rr 195 hp machine and wanted to share my opinion. First off I own a 2017 turbo 2 seat and an 18 4 seat turbo with a combined 10000 miles between the 2 of them with zero issues and I'm very happy with them. I've been a die hard Polaris customer since 1995 and still will be in the future but I really wanted to try something different. We are taking a 2 week trip to Colorado this month and wanted a new machine and of course wanted the xp pro but I couldn't get a sure date on delivery so I started to search for the xrc rr and found out there are just a handful for sale in the country but I got it yesterday. First impression is its fast real fast. Feels very plush and stable compared to my xp 2 seat. Build quality looks amazing. The feel of the cockpit is a totally new experience and feels like a car or sand rail. The look out the window is way better than I thought it would be and my favorite thing so far is it's not 140 degrees in the cab with the intercooler in rear. Things I dont like, no center display with the trail maps and back up camera. It is kinda a bitch getting in and out of. The brakes are good but not like my Polaris. The under skid plate is riveted on so it will make routing wires harder. I was surprised how hard it pulled as well. My 2 seat Polaris makes 175 at tires and this thing pulls just about the same. The power delivery is completely different as it revs lower than polaris but has a ton of mid range. I still love my polaris and am keeping my 2 seater but it's exciting having a totally different machine and the fact is all the new machines from both polaris and can am are bad ass. I will buy the xp pro this winter and sell my 2017. I won't post a pic of my can am unless I'm asked to lol..

Just Googled it.. That thing looks bad ass! Totally worthless here in PA but would love to drive it in its natural habitat.

Trust me I was nervous going to another brand but it's really cool having both machines. I'm looking forward to tuning it. Should be a beast.

Trying right now to decide between a Turbo S or a new X3 XRS.
They don't make it easy, that is for dang sure.

Re: I love my 2 xp turbos but...

Couldnt be happier with my 19' Turbo S! With the trail riding i do,i think it would be hard to see over the hood of a can am x3,it seems more of a "sports car" and the turbo S is more of a "truck" in my opinion. I could be way off here too lol. The 195 hp sports car would be nice at the dunes,or on pavement, but just not sure it would be good at say,Windrock or places like that, let me know if im wrong lol.

Might want to re-think Colorado
From the 570 sub-forum

Really pretty country Katnapper! There is so much avalanche damage here in Colorado that it is difficult to get into the back country this summer. Thanks for the pics.

Can-Am makes a nice tablet holder. Get a cheap tablet and a GPS app.

I have a friend who has an older X3DS and he has a 3rd party backup camera that shows on his tablet and it works fine.

Yes, the fit and finish on Can-Am is far superior to Polaris.

The HP is not needed, but the machine does great there. Can't discount the stability that 12" of extra WB gives you.

Have an XP1K and a CanAm XRC 72". Now I can't speak for a Turbo S I'm sure they're just as good. But the XRC is great at Windrock and Hatfield, ride those trails all the time.

I was looking at the base x3 turbo and was almost dead set on it. I ended up with the velocity for the same price and could not pass up what I got. The can am looks awesome and sitting in it feels great. I like the two key option and push button start. Was a little concerned with rock crawling I wouldn’t be able to see as Well.
