How come no love for superchargers here?

Im actually kind of shocked at the lack of superchargers for the rzr. I built a few bikes around the rotrex supercharger and it did extremely well agaisnt the turbo bikes! Just curious is all. I did a vrod one time ( wife made me sell it) on e85 and a c30 rotrex and it wasnt even a challenge against the turbos.

I would imagine it has to do with an exposed belt not holding up to mud, water, etc. There was a kit a long time ago but probably had to be used in the dunes only.

Actually I see that Kraftwerks still sells one. For $4,000 though, that’s double what you can buy a new turbo machine for over the standard XP which also gets you all the upgraded HD parts.

CORRECT THE BELTS ON A SUPERCHARGER WONT LAST

When I purchased my first RZR 2010 800 S
I took it for a hot lap and was very disappointed in the lack of power stock. A few weeks later I purchased the Mountain Performance Supercharger kit. The power increase was amazing .....but every 100 miles or so I was blowing belts on the SC and I was not in mud or bad conditions
Also it is a real pain to get at especially on the trail

Dont do it ....IMO

The kraftworks looks pretty sealed up though no? Id like to get one done succesfully because I found it ( for me) waaaay easier to tune for. But I def see the argument, any water or mud on that belt and its toast.
