New updated XPT front output hubs

Not sure Iíve seen anyone talk about this... Polaris updated the output hubs to seal them better from leaks.

Iíve talked about the silicone trick in this video:

After a 3 hard trips to Moab and nearly 3000 miles of use I noticed the output hubs were rather loose, and I wanted to upgrade the Sprague, armature etc anyways and I noticed the new hubs once they arrived:

Looks like a new brass style freeze plug with a rubber cover on the backside

Do you happen to know when they did this upgrade?

No idea. I ordered the previous part number on Patzilla and they automatically subbed the new part number.

My 2018 XPT was built Oct 2017

They have an upgraded output hub assembly?

They have a fix to prevent the leaking. Not sure exactly but I think they add some sort of "freeze plug" to prevent the leaking

Hmmmm... considering there is already a steel freeze plug. The updated hub looks to be brass now with the rubber seal.

I was impressed with the update and I’ve been critical of the previous idea

Re: New updated XPT front output hubs

My '16 XPT was leaking. They replaced the seals ( my aftermarket extended warranty). I got it back and it was still leaking. This time they put a new front diff in it. I got no papework so I don't know what the part number is. It took three years for the first one to start leaking if this one last that long it will be time for a new machine
