Since I bought my 2016 Trubo 4 w/ 1000mi on it, the front differential has made this horrible noise in 2WD. Switch into 4WD and it's gone.
I fear self-destruction.
The dealer told me to look at the coolant line brackets. Not broken. The front differential seals were replaced due to leakage, under warranty. Brought the RZR back in for this issue and they replaced the front diff output bearings and seals (again). No leak now, but same noise no change. I now have 2000mi on the rig.
I am tempted to take the diff out and ship it to RCR Sandcraft for rebuild as they claim they can fix this noise - however I'd like warranty/Polaris to take care of it for me.
I would like to know as well. I have a new 2019 XP4 HLE with the same noise. It only has 5 miles on it. Mine only seems to do it in high range though. I put it up on the four post lift and drove it and it would not make the sound.
I have the same Noise on my 18xp1k had it since new now have 1600 miles on it same noise I just turn up the radio more noise is gone just run it till it breaks Iíve heard some that have this problem and have 4000+ miles on them
For what its worth, you could find a turbo take out diff for around $700. They have better internals then the 2016.
I don't know about that, I have a 2018 RZR Dynamix Turbo with 500 Miles the front Diff. the left side started to leak and the axle where it goes into the Diff. had a lot of play in it, I sent it to Sandcraft Motor Sport to get it completely rebuilt, so I wont have any more problems with it. the cost was more than $700.
