Seizmik Halo woes - any ideas?

I purchased the Halo R, but I didn’t realize how low it hangs down from the cage!
It’s my fault I didn’t check closer, but after mounting it up it’s damn near right in the middle of the windshield, or in my case where the windshield WOULD be. I could chop the trim piece on the roof to roll it out in front of the vehicle but I was hoping not to.

Any opinions on the matter? Is there a lower profile bracket I can get? This drops 5” off the roll cage before the mirror even starts...

TBH I think I only need a small and minimal mirror for infrequent glances to check behind me.

Open to different brands and ideas. Thanks for the help.

I’ve been looking at this same mirror and wondered about the problem you are having with it. Did you find a solution or another mirror to use?

I did find a solution. I can take a pic when I get home, but I was able to mount the bracket on the drivers side too side rail of the cage and manipulated it up out of the way. I don’t have a roof, otherwise it wouldn’t have worked. It’s up out of the way and provides excellent view behind me.
