XP1k Trails & Rocks Lower A-Arms and Radias arms

What are the actual part numbers for the XP1K T&R Edition lower A-Arms and Radius arms? Looking them up on a Polaris Parts Locator doesn't give much info on the various a-arms on the different models.

Basically I am just getting an idea of using the factory Polaris parts versus SATV or Highlifter.

Thanks

Josh

Josh......I know what you mean when you look at the parts fiche on suspension parts....that being said, go to the actual accessory catalog and you will find the exact ones listed in there. Sorry I'm not more help.

There it is... sorta.

Front LCA for $379 with balljoints

Rear Complete kit for $499.99, but doesn't fit 12mm rear bolts.

Hmmm... gotta be a way to just get the lower radius arms from the Gold Edition

Re: XP1k Trails & Rocks Lower A-Arms and Radias arms

I believe it is part #: 1543751-458 for the radius rods. Its unclear if they use 10 or 12mm as they list both bolts. The description says high clearance black. You can buy the a arms themselves as well minus the ball joints and bushings. I believe it is 1021482-458 and 1021483-458 but those part numbers are harder to tell by the description. I bought red oem highlifter a arms for my turbo and they worked great.

Re: XP1k Trails & Rocks Lower A-Arms and Radias arms

Just buy high clearance lower radius rods from highlifter and the lower a arms from superatv. Itíll be cheaper and you will have better parts.

Not sure why you think those options are better than the OEM parts. All Polaris special parts (High clearance A-Arms, skid plates, high clearance radius rods, etc....) are built by a 3rd party vendor (Aftermarket).

The factory R&T high clearance A-arms and Radius rods are very good quality parts.

OP: If you get the OEM R&T radius rods they will be 12mm.

Re: XP1k Trails & Rocks Lower A-Arms and Radias arms

I had SATV front and rear high clearance A-Arms on my 2017 S1000. I wouldn't really say they were superior to the factory parts, but they were nice units and the price was decent. My biggest complaint on the SATV LCA's was setting the camber. Their recommended setting was nowhere near correct for my machine and it's a pain to disassemble everything to recorrect it. I'd rather just bolt up and go, hence OEM parts.

I was more curious about what was available OEM and how much. So far it seems a good deal to use the Polaris lower HC A-Arms and possibly an aftermarket solution for the radius rods.

I just bought a 2018 trails and rock, it actually came with a part number sheet for all the upgraded parts and accessories on it. I will get that data when I get home after lunch.

Re: XP1k Trails & Rocks Lower A-Arms and Radias arms

I have a 2016 xp4 1000 highlighter. I always wondered if Polaris or highlighter made the high clearance parts. I figured if was highlighter and they probably used the same parts on the Rock and Trails. Just a different color. Who knows.

The rockcrawler edition is code AZ

Front lower A arms:
1021482-458 WELD-CTRLARM,HC LWR,FR,LH,64,B [AZ]
1021483-458 WELD-CTRLARM,HC,LWR,FR,RH,64,B [AZ]
Radius rods:
1543751-458 ASM-RADIUS ROD,BTM,HC,M.BLK [AZ]

If your car uses 10x1.25 rear bolts you will need to get the correct bolts, and drill out the frame and rear carriers, or replace with the updated parts. It would depend on when yours was made.
