Strawberry has some great mountain trails! In the middle of summer will be your best time to go, as it is higher in elevation. We went last weekend and ran into snow on the higher trails.
If you have never rode Moab, I personally would say that is some of the best riding in Utah that you don't see anywhere else! But it's desert type riding, although they also have a mountain range very close also!
I've ridden Moab and most every where else in the state. Never up in the Strawberry area though, so I am excited to finally get up there this summer. Looks like a lot of fun!

Are there any trail maps available online for whats in the area? Ive just went fishing along the river and then some snowmobiling, but it was the wifes first time so we didnt venture to far off of the groomed trailes
I'm sure there is, but we always just explore without maps. You can pretty much go forever in any direction. Just "point and shoot"

Yeah I did some fishing up there with my dad last year, caught some nice stuff. In fact my son who was 2 at the time, caught the biggest fish. It was a great trip. I'll be sure to bring the fishing pole along.

I might go up there over Memorial Weekend

It was great. 70 degrees! I was wearing a t-shirt all day!

I would check the weather, this weekend is supposed to be crappy and at that elevation it's supposed to be cold. 52 degrees and 30 % chance of thunderstorms!
