Re: Anybody know how ?

If you're talking about the big black seal that is on the other side of the cv axle then I have a bit of a write up on taking that apart https://www.rzrforums.net/rzr-xp-1000...e-removal.html.
Then for taking the seal itself out I just used a small punch and taped one side of it in a little ways until it exposed the other edge and then pulled it out with a pair of pliers. Then used a very large socket and hammer to pound in the new seal. It was all pretty easy except getting the cv out when they were seized in. Hope this helps and was what you're talking about.

Re: Anybody know how ?

Haha no that is not right, the thread is called Cv axle removal, I clicked it and it took me to the correct location. You can see it has the word removal in the link itself. If it still doesn't work for you, click on the RZR 1000 thread of the main forum page, then search 'CV axle removal' and it'll be the one with my name as the thread creator.

Re: Anybody know how ?

Should I put the Lot of grease or anti seize with copper in the splines ? Never beeen through water but was really muddy last trip but the seal started leaking within the first 20 miles and we hadn't even hit the mud yet

The big black ring is the seal.

I put a lot of grease inside the rear diff and then also coated the splines of the axles with a ton of anti-seize as well. I haven't had to take them out again since and it's been a over a year now, so I really cant comment on if it did any good....it didn't hurt I know that much! haha
