RZR Racing in Texas? Who is up for it?

I am trying to get a few UTV races going on here in the Lonestar state. It seems to be so popular out in California, and with the amount of RZRs we have sold and the amount of Rhinos already in the area, I know we can have a blast getting them out onto the track.

I was thinking of having 2 classes if we have enough people to split them up. Modified and Super Stock

Super Stock would be stock suspension and motor, only major mods allowed would be pipe and re-jetting/re-mapping, wheels and tires, and safety mods like a cage or bumpers and harnesses.

Mod would be anything more than that.

Anyone up for it? I already have some cooperation from a couple track owners so I know we will have a place to race, we just need to get a count on people who would be interested.

I've bEen promoting this in Texas for over a year. The GCQRA has 9 races in the Houston area and the TQRA has a few in the north Texas area. Hit me up for more info. Josh 903-388-4418. Cheekmotorsports.com

What you don't want to do I flood the market by trying to start another racing group
Say u start a new group, it may take away from another series and then things will start
to die off. Starting off that's the last thing we want to do in the beginning. GQRA is a pro classwith
payout. They have a good set of rules for the first. You don't want tomany classes starting up either
cause u want a full field racing and not just 2 or 3 in each class.

that's understandable and I brought up the same thing when they were making upthe rules just
need the turnout for the first year to get the classes established. Andrew not trying to mess up
your post but I thought you guys would race all the TQRA races. I plan on racing the North S0 race

Not messing up the thread at all man! I am excited to see everyone getting into it. I am hoping that we will be able to have a stock class in the TQRA series also, but what people need to understand is that we need to have more people! We could run 2 classes and just double-gate them I guess. Show up to these races and we will make it as fair as we can for everyone involved!

I am probably going to miss the first few TQRA races, but I have a good group of guys that are gonna hit almost all of them. I want to come down for soem of the GCQRA races too.

lol, he has it now. We finally got the turbo crap off and got it running ok.
I've got the new motor parts coming but I don't think i'll get them in before the first race. I get it back in a day or two.
He likes the arrangement, he gets free parts and I have a Rhino to race.
When do you want to come grab your sway bars?

I noticed you're not running your rib, problems?

The T/C's work great btw, but I may be swapping the wheels out for bead locks.

They will eventually rub through the cv's. They rub really bad have made groves in both rear lower inner cv's
It looks really bad and so I had to pull them and buy new cv's and rebuild my already new S's axle's.
Did not make me real happy. After about 5 min they looked really bad.
