Hunterworks has given you good info (thanks Todd, you are correct I'm not here as often as I should be)
To elaborate a bit more it is not that the kit doesnt "fit" or anything, and quite possibly the components here could be used, but it is more important to realize that accurate cvt calibration needs to be tested for each application...and changed any time the following:
- hp change
- required rpm peak changes (long duration camshafts, etc)
- final drive ratio change (including from larger diameter tires)
- rotating mass like heavy tires,
- deep soft terrain, etc
So although the comoponets could maybe be used ...the calibration of those for best efficiency would need thoroughly tested in the exact application............without doing the proper testing it could give you wrong info, and we only sell what has been tested. that way, when someone asks "what happens on this application when we use this tire, etc" ...we can answer with confident, tested results.
...we certainly do not have that test data with your engine, so I'm sure it would be better for you to stick with the tested parts you have from the original vendor.
You dont "guess or assume" anything when it comes to calibration of cvt's.
Sorry to not be more specific in this application
thanks for inquiring.
PS, Todd is correct. If you want to contact Dalton Ind., the best way is probably not a forum (in case we miss it)...it is always better to go [email protected]
and we will answer quickly.
