rzr 800 skid ?superatv?

ok, so on the "facebook marketplace", someone is selling me a skid plate that he says is made by superatv. brand new. seems legit.

fsp-p-rzr-rsp rev a00 is branded into the skids.

i cant find anything online, and i think they might be a discontinued model? they have 4 parts that look normal... one main front, one main rear... then 2 pieces that look like they go under the "rocker panel"... but then there's 2 more pieces that look like they go up the sides of the rocker panel, but i really cant tell, and the guy isnt much help. i attached pics. the 2 skinny pieces are what im trying to figure out. it is important to me to have the rocker panels protected, as that tends to be what i drag over rocks the most...

can anyone tell me how they will attach, or if they have anything similar? im finding extremely little when i google "superatv rzr 800 skid plates"

thanks!

From the spacing of the mounting holes on the 2 center sections, it appears they stop at the frame rails, it looks to me like the sections you are talking about will go from the frame rails out to the rocker panels. Then the thinner pieces will go up around the rockers.

exactly what i am thinking, but my confusion is that i have no idea what the ones that go up and around the rockers would attach to on the upper side. the other thought would be that they bridge the seam between the pieces where they meet at the frame rails.

I think im just going to go ahead and get them.. if they dont wrap around as i hope, i think they will still protect me from most of what i encounter. drug the machine over a sharp rock last weekend and ended up with a flap of rocker panel hanging down!

There are 2 tabs on each of the thin ones that look to me like they should bolt to the oem rocker mounting points on the side of the rockers. But you could be correct they maybe bridges. Hard to tell.

you might be right. but this is the only place i can find pics of the superatv skid for the 800...

https://www.pureoffroad.com/super-at...-800-s-800.htm

the 2 trapezoidal parts that go from the frame rails to the rockers... the shorter edge seems like it is the outer part under the rocker panel and the longer edget goes to the frame rails... it seems like the 2 skinniest pieces are as long as the inner edge, not the outer edge. see attached as to my reasoning. so if they did indeed wrap up around the rockers, they would be about a foot too long.

see attached pic for my reasoning.

Seeing those pics I agree those are bridges for the main sections and the side sections. If you look close you will see 2 offset bolts on the main section closest to where the side section attaches to the main. They would appear to be around where the tabs are on those thin pieces.

i concur. cool, so not exactly what i am looking for, but at least i know what im looking for. now the challenge is going to be trying to figure out what hardware it should come with so i can determine what it is missing. i know many kits use non factory mounting locations.
