Grade 8 is good enough and grade 5 isn't bad either for these light weight machines. Grade 5 would bend before breaking allowing a return to camp for a fresh bolt. Grade 8 is stronger but more brittle and could snap rather than bend. I never broke a 5 or 8 in a 5,000lbs rock crawler under carzy amounts of stress. Most times the steel tabs would rip or tear long before a suspension bolt failed. Grade 10 is unnecessary.

I seen two grade 5 bolts break on two different machines this weekend. it was the front top shock bolt on both of those. I would definatly go with grade 8.
