Re: TIRE SIZE
if you do a 2 inch highlifter lift kit ($259) and hunterworks front spring spacer's.($65) and -43 offset torq rims.($400) 27 inch mud light xl tire's.($400) there will be no worry's. this set up will handle well. it will have 13.5 inches of clearance from the front of the skid plate almost to the rear. 12.5 at the rear.this will turn your rzr into a great mudder. it also will do good in the dunes because the rims and tire combo dont hurt the horse power much at all. and my stock clutch works good. the mud light xl tread works well in the sand. but if you dont care about anything but big tires. that's cool. i can tell you that i have 3inch's of clearance between my fender and the front 27 inch mud light tire. when you put front spring spacer's in it makes your spring alot stiffer. without them after i got the mud weight on my rzr when i did sharp turn the tire would rub inside wheel well. with this set up i think you could run 28 inch tire's with no worries. this would leave you two and a half inch's clearance up front and enough room to clear exhaust and heat shield. i think 29 will work but things will be gitting tight. with this set up i could put 13 inch wide tires on the back and still clear the motor mount. my rzr is 57 inch's wide in the rear and 53 inch's in the front. and it handl's alot better than stock. 50 inch's wide at 102 inch's long is going to get damaged sooner or later on a narrow atv trail. 30 inch tires might work but i think you would be pushing it. might not be a good idea. hope this help's you. hope you can come to the ride at black mountain in harlan kentucky on april 26 and 27 2008. i also should tell you that i went with 27x9x12 on the front. i think thay will carve better than 27x10x12 i have 27x12x12 on the back.
