Getting ready to change the stock wheels on the RZR. Is there a performance difference in 14" wheels over 12"?

Wheels shouldn't change much. It's the overall size of your tires that change your handling/ground clearance. You can run 26" tires on either 14" wheels or 12" wheels. 14" wheels do give you less tire side wall therefore the tires should roll as much as a 12" tire.

About the only performance difference I can think of is that the sidewalls are less likely to fold over on sidehills at low pressure if you're running the same size tire, e.g. 26", on 14" rims vs. 12" rims.

I don't know that these things produce enough force under cornering to benefit from lower profile tires at recommended tire pressure.

12inch rims will give you more tire sidewall to hit rocks with. this helps keep your rims looking good.

I just bought some 12 " for the same reason mdeavens said.

dont get 14"rims...if you knock the tire off the bead once, it will just keep falling off after that.Witht the 12" sidewall, you have that much more give in the sidewall for bigger hits to your tire, allowing for alot more riding than fixing flat tires. Happy Trails!!

IF you want to keep it 50" wide you have little choice...The 12" rims from Polaris are the only ones available with the right offset.

I've got 27" Bighorns mounted on 12" SS108's and it changed my width to 53" in the rear. I thought about getting 14's but more sidewall mean's prettier wheel's when riding in rocks.

14" beadlocks on 26" terracross...... No worries
