ITP Wheels and Tires?
Hey Guys,
My dad and I are hopefully going to be getting a new RZR next month, but anyways we are looking at getting aftermarket wheels and tires as soon as we get the thing. We are looking at either the T7 beadlock rims or the SS106. My question is does the RZR really need beadlocks? We will be using it mostly in the sand...so it would be nice to be able run very low air pressures. Also how much offset do these have? Also we are leaning towards the 26" ITP Terracross tires, will the bigger tires make it lose some power? Any imput would be great! Thanks

Re: ITP Wheels and Tires?
Beadlock are needed if you really want to air your tires down. Being mostly in the sand you might want to do that (they are expensive). With 26" tires you shouldn't have much of a rubbing issue, you might have to put spacers in the rear (depends on the wheel chose and offset). Last question if you add larger tires you will loss some power, more tire more power loss, but you can always reclutch to get your power back.

I have the ITP T7 Beadlockers. I bought them because I have a couple friends that broke there bead several times. We don't ride in much. I just know with these rims I can run extreme low presure or high and not have to worry about anything.

Re: ITP Wheels and Tires?
I just got my T7 beadlocks. I'm running 26" Maxxis Bighorn tires. I'm going out today to test them on the trail, but they don't rub at all playing around in my driveway. Sure, you loose a little power with bigger tires, but the RZR has plenty of power.
