Re: Itp Terracross

if there not those new type with thicker rubber, do yourself a favor and get bighorns. i had plugs in every tire with my terracross tires, in fact one rear had 17 plugs, the other 8.

Thanks for the heads up. Really like the sidewall on the Terra. How do you know if your getting the thicker rubber?

+1 for Matt.

For Terracross make sure you're ordering the "XD" version that came out last spring. It's molded right into the rubber so it says "Terracross R/T XD". Extra sidewall ply & tougher rubber compound.

Re: Itp Terracross

dont get them. you will be sorry.....

i have the "new" XD tire, and i have probably 50 plugs in the tires. they pinch easy, and everything pokes a hole in the damn things. very regretful i have tires with 90% wear left but cant trust the tires to hold air through a camping trip...

Re: Itp Terracross

Are you going to run spacers with them? We've sold tons of these tires and have had very few complaints with them. What type of terrain is everybody using them on the get that many flats?

Re: Itp Terracross

No spacers. Future +3 going on it. Yeah I can't believe everyone has this much problems with these tire. Got me reall looking @ the Bighorns. I have 200 miles on my stockers and not a single problem. Is the Terracross that thin?
