Fron tire setup...

I have noticed that some people are rinning the same size rims and tires front and rear. I like the look as I don't care for the skinny front wheel and tire. My question is this...does this affect handling or is it ok?

Re: Fron tire setup...

oregonducks1 i put -43 offset torq rims with 27x9x12on the front. and 27x 12 x12 on the back. (mud light tires). the -43 offset gives the rim a deep dish so it has the look you want and still handles good. if you put 12 inch wide tires on the front it wont handle as good as a 9 or 10.the 9 inch will carve the turnes way faster. 12 inch on the front will be a little taller for ground clearance. i use the -43 offset so the rim gets pushed out and tire will clear motor mount without wheel spacer. i put $100 spacer money into nicer rim's. and less weight.if you use mud light tires you will have a good set up for mud sand and hard pack. the tires are lighter than most. this saves HORSEPOWER.
