Wheel and Tire Question

I am trying to figure out what to do with wheel and tire size. I ride my stock RZR in Glamis and sometimes on dirt. I plan on getting ITP T 7 beadlock wheels with ITP tires. The Question is, do I run 12" rims with 25" tires and use Rhino to RZR adapters. Or, do I go with 14" RZR rims with 26" tires. Will I lose power with 26" tires? Is there a disadvantage in running adapters? The 14" / 26" RZR are about $300 more at $1,350 OTD. Also, has anyone found a better price?

Thank you for any help.

I would go with 12"s then if you decide to go with paddles you won't need to by more wheels if you don't want to.

Google "atv tire kits". The best prices Ive found are motoxmall.com, or onlineatvparts.com.

Re: Wheel and Tire Question

I have 12's with 26" maxis big horns. I went with the 12" because of the sidewall. I can go 55.3 on a gps, all stock motor etc, and I don't think I lost any power. It still leaves black stripes on pavement.

Re: Wheel and Tire Question

Anyone running 29.5" tires? I'm following one on eBay right now that has a 3" lift and 29.5" tires. I like the idea of the taller tires but not the lift. How much up-travel is in the stock suspension?

Re: Wheel and Tire Question

I bought the 12" ITP Bead locks with an offset and 25" ITP tires. Because ITP does not make a 12" rim with an offset for the RZR I had to use 1" rhino to RZR adapters. It was to much offset. I put the stock tires back on after one ride. The new setup completely messed with the suspension. I was bottoming out and would not handle like the stock setup. I now have a set of ITP C7 Beadlocks that will fit a rhino or a RZR with aftermarket shocks for sale. I think I am going to go with a stock offset with no adapters.

Re: Wheel and Tire Question

There are a couple of companies making aftermarket hubs for the rzr with the rhino bolt pattern. I think they end up being stock offset, and they're billet instead of cast. I personally think the polaris bolt pattern is better.

Re: Wheel and Tire Question

Who makes aftermarket hubs for the rzr with the rhino bolt pattern?
FST makes aftermarket hubs but I don’t know about the conversion.

Re: Wheel and Tire Question

I just received my 12 inch ITP Type 7 beadlocks with the 4 - 156 bolt pattern. I do not need any adapters of any kind.

I had them mounted with Highlifter MST 26 inch tires. I expect to try them out this weekend, but I do not anticipate any clearence problems.

I also received the red Stylized Ring Style and the chrome standard rings, Highlifters tire sealant installed plus shipping to Seattle for $1218 by ordering directly (over the phone) from Highlifter.
