Both sets of tires on stock-offset rims caused interference. Tires rubbed the corner of the motor mount, edge of the open end of the frame rail, and the corner of the skidplate where it sticks out beyond the frame rail. I trimmed all the offending corners off with a cut-off wheel.
After spraying a little semi-flat black on the spots you'd never know I did anything.
Yeah it's a PITA but my goal was to be legal on the hunderds of miles of 50" restricted trails here in Michigan.

Instead of uploading it to the forum you host it on Photobucket or similar picture host then you post a link to the picture. What ever size it is on the host site is the size it will display here. |

The fronts are narrower...I think 9" wide where the backs are 12" wide.
no rubbing issues with a 2" lift

NICE THREAD..... But it would be nice to here whant people think of the tires and how the machine handles with the different tire set ups cause i am tring to figure out what i tires i want on the ss212 14 rims for mudding and trail riding? any suggestions? i have heard that the 29.5 vibrate real bad after about 30 miles an hr.
