Will Slime seal a bead leaking ?
I do have little air bead leaking on my sand tires. Did anybody have experience with Slime helping with that problem, I know work good on puncture in rubber, but not sure if seal between rims and tires too. Don't want to mess up with it, if don't work and will rather install tubes instead. Any experience with it ?

Slime can seal bead leaks, you need to lay tire on angle and let the slime work its way around the bead. This may require you to slowly rotate it on a tilt, this is the hard part about slime and bead leaks.

I would unseat the bead, clean the sand out, and reset the bead.

I had that exact problem at my dune trip in Oct. No, slime made no difference at all. The only way I got it fixed was to unmount the tires, clean everything and put it back together.

I would break down the tires and clean around the tire and also the rim. Then when you reinstall the tires use a lube around the bead ( k-y jelly might work ) ,air up and go to town

best tire sealant= 8 oz liquid silver alumaseal and 15 oz undiluted antifreeze
about the only thing I found that works and was for a 1300x 15 sand car tire and rim. cant stand slime, get the valve all icky and eats inside of alum rims etc.
