Need tire / rim advice

Ok I have read every forum thread I can on tires / rims but have a few questions.

First, I have the 2" lift kit and I don't want the new tires / rims to rub

I understand that a 12" rim has more side wall then a 14".
12" better for rock crawling
14" better corner at speeds can also get bead lock

I ride in IN, KY (Evarts), soon WVA, Tenn and I like mud / trail riding not so much rock crawling off camber

From what I have read Bighorns are are the all terrain tire of choice
I had 25" Mudlites on my Prarie but with the SRA I had about 8" clearance and got hung up alot -so mudding kinda sucked

I also read you want -.43 offset, wheel spacers or bolt conversion
(this is a bit fuzzy)

So what is better for me? Trying to stay under 55 inches and avoid spacers etc.. if I can help it.

26 or 27" tires? (I heard 28" will rub and rob to much power)
SS112 rims look great but $140 for conversion = forget it
SS108 is what we like 2nd best

If I see a mud puddle, I will go through it but also do lots of normal trail riding.

Thank you all suggestions are welcome

I have 14" rims with 26"tires and have no issues with rubbing or anything. To me that represented the best all around combination and the type of riding I do mirrors yours.

112's will work on RZR without conversions. Have a set with bighorns waiting for my machine. NICE setup. Matthew from atvoutfitters.net set me up.

Also keep in mind that MAXXIS tires seem to run a size bigger then others. They do have the SS112 Sport Wheels in the 4/156 bolt pattern which will bolt directly on the RZR. However the SS112's in chrome doesn't come in the 4/156 bolt pattern or atlest when I got mine they didn't. I have the Chrome SS112's and the 26" GBC dirt tamer tires with 1 3/4 wheel spacers, but I Don't think they would rub even without them. I just have to have them with those wheels.

Thanks for the quick replies. Sounds like I can have the 112s now all I have to do is make a decision on tires.

Re: Need tire / rim advice

You can go up to 5+3 offsets with the 112s and be right at 55"

Bighorns all the way.
