mixed up info

Hey all,

So as I posted already, in someone elses thread, I am going from stock LE to aftermarket rims/tires.

I read here http://www.rzrforums.net/wheels-tire...s-rubbing.html that with 26" I would get slight rubbing... yet people are talking about running 28" zillas

Whats the deal??

I was wanting bigger mudding tires, and wanting to keep the weight low so I thought 28 zillas on 14" rims would be the ticket.. but if they rub when you go hard right or left... I dont want that

Whats probably the biggest size I can go with an 09 rzr? 2" lift available(not purchased), spacers if needed (rims should offset tho no?), minor minor modifications like cutting corners, heating and pushing back plastics but only MINOR stuff... I dont want to fully retro the rzr.

Thanks for anyone that can help me out here... I dont wanna waste a grand finding out they wont work.

Re: mixed up info

Soo much info.. the more you read the more you get screwed up

So I read something about getting 5 rims/tires the same so you have a spare.. that sounds good... and they said to go with something not too wide so you can keep your power ^^b

Wonder if I could continue my path and get 4 28x9x14 or 4 27x10x14

Opinions?

Specs:
Zillas 6ply
28x9x14 23.1lbs
27x10x14 22.8lbs
27x9x12 20.3lbs

Not sure on rim weights :/

I dont understand

I know unsprung weight is very important.. what do you mean up to 3lbs per tire?

I'm thinking still of going with the 28x9x14s... will wait a bit tho so I can get more info.

hey jeepster,

Do you have a lift as well? and what width are your 27's? What size and offset are your rims?

Have you checked at full compression hard left and right? and if you remember, does it look like you have a bit of room left, so as to accomodate a 28?

Thanks for any more info
