New Omf Beadlocks

Here are some pics of my new omf beadlocks with adjustable off sets. They are 12".
As happy as I am with the look, The right rear rubs with 12x26x12" bighorns. I'm so pissed with omf I'm about to snap, I talked to them 2 times before I ordered them and another 2 times while they were being made as was told with this wheel and tire set up they would not rub. And they were supposed to ship 9x26x12 all the way around. I think i,m going to see if they will send me a full set of razors instead.

Re: New Omf Beadlocks

They look great but can you tell us how the adjustable offset works? Also do the wheels keep the machine at 50" and adjust outboard? What is the total width? Thanks!

Re: New Omf Beadlocks

OMF will make any offset wheel into a billet center.

so i matters what offset you are starting with. then you will be able to adjust about 9/16" when flipping the billet center.

i still have not decided if they are worth the money spent for them. i just ordered 17" true beadlocks for my dodge and they were $125 less for each wheel than the OMF billet centers.

Re: New Omf Beadlocks

that,s funny I just got off the phone with him, he thinks it,s a tire problem because if the 12' rears. I have a dfr exhaust so the only problem i,m having is the motor mount. He is going to ship out a new set of tires but now I don,t know what ones to go with. I think i,m going to go with 25x9x12 or just have him ship out 2 26x9x12 rears. I don,t know , bummmmer
If you have one on order from them you should call and make sure, I should have more answers by this weekend. should of bought the long travel first.

Re: New Omf Beadlocks

So my lesson for today: 26x12x12" rear bighorns Will rub with omf's 12x8 with a 5b+3n back spacing in the rear. (stock wheel base)
After talking to Bones I decided to keep the bighorns for when the long travel gets here, and he is sending me out 25x8x12 front's and 25x10x12" rear razor's. I don't know if that was the right decision but it's done now. It's only money till my wife finds out.
Bones from omf stepped up. thx

Stock rear is 6+2. The only reason the stock setup doesn't rub is the 10" tires. Any 12" tire on stock offsets will be over 50" and will rub the motor mount. I have stock offset and run 11" rears and still get a little rubbing at full droop. Took care of it by grinding the mount corners off and beveling the frame tubing ends.

I talked with Bones and decided against the billet centers when he told me the offset "flexibility" they boast about in the magazine ads was only about 1/2".
