How to make 27" Swamp Lites Fit my stock RZR

I own a full set of brand new 27x12x12 rear and 27x10x12 fronts off my Brute Force and I would like to know the most efficent way to put these on my stock RZR. Also what is the best setup if I just sell these and go to 14" rims with some new tires? Thanks

Re: How to make 27" Swamp Lites Fit my stock RZR

kus22 swamp lites are a cool looking tire. if tires are on kawi rims you have to buy wheel spacer that will convert bolt paturn to rzr. thay need to be thick enough to push tire out so you can clear motor mount. if you have just the tires i would mount them on -43 offset rims. motorsport alloys offer -43 offset. you dont need spacer. the off set pushes the rim out. the money you save on the spacers can be spent on rims. you should put highlifter 2 inch lift ($259) do to the fact your puting 27 inch tires on i dont think you will be gitting big air. if you dont mind a stiff ride i would put hunterworks front spring spacer in. ($65) this way you wont rub inner fender well at all. this will give you 13.5 inchs of clearance under your skid plate. near the back its only 12.5. i might try puting spring spacer in the rear of my rzr and see if i can gain an inch more. i think 14 inch rims look the best when there new but 12 inch rims have a taller sidewall. this will help keep the rims from geting banged up.

if kuss22 go's with 14's he will need to know what spacer to use. im not saying thay rub. but without lift its hard to beleave. i would think in hard turns under power or droping of hill rut area. thay would rub. how much do you weigh.

Re: How to make 27" Swamp Lites Fit my stock RZR

i'd go with a 2" spacer if you want to use stock wheels. otherwise, as was previously stated, the MSA's with the -43 should work, or the itps with the middle offset..... i have the 28" MST's on ss108s with the standard offset (not the stock offset or the really wide offset, but the middle one) and i jumped mine a couple times and hit some 8-10 inch logs going straight at 25-30 this weekend and it didn't rub. the front springs are on their stiffest setting, which wasn't that stiff IMO. now when i'm turning is a different question, lol. when on flat ground and slight off camber situations they don't rub, but if i get to where i'm crossing a rut or hit a bump turning, they slightly rub. i thought they were gonna be bad since everybody is saying they rub with 27s, but it wasn't bad at all, and i wasn't easy on it testing them out. it's audible, and you can feel a slight vibration on the floorboards. at most i'll get some highlifter springs. maybe all new shocks since it'll jump better. hope that essay i just wrote helps, lol

Re: How to make 27" Swamp Lites Fit my stock RZR

smalrzr go back and read my post. it tells you if you use -43 offset rims you dont need wheel spacers. i have 27 inch mudlights. my rzr is 57 inchs wide in rear and 53 inchs wide up front it handles better than a stock rzr. if you go on mdevans pic's you can see a set. the offset gives the rim a deep dish that looks good.

seems your getting the run around so I'll answer with pic's 14" swamp lites on ITP no spacers just tell the wheel dealer you use to send the extra wide ITP's.

Re: How to make 27" Swamp Lites Fit my stock RZR

I looked on ITP's site today and I can't find 14'' 108's standard 4/3 offset. Can someone help in what I need. I'm going with 14'' because I already have the tires from my King Quad. Do I get same size wheels all the way around or get front and rear with different offsets. Thanks

Re: How to make 27" Swamp Lites Fit my stock RZR

Sorry for hijacking this thread again, but one more question. What size WHEELS would you use on the front? SS108's 14x6(4+2) or 14x8(5+3)offsets? Tires will be 27x9x14 front, 27x11x14 rear. Would you use same size rim all the way around or use 14x8rear,14x6front. I've tried to explain this earlier and on another site, I hope someone understands what I'm looking for before I start thinking I'm crazier than I thought I was.

Re: How to make 27" Swamp Lites Fit my stock RZR

you can use the ITP "standard offset" to run those tires. i didn't get the extra wide offset. i got the standard offset. mine rub only during braking when turning and in off camber situations

do the swamp lites handle pretty good? my uncle has some on his arctic cat and i'm considering buying them from him to put on stock wheels and use for fast trail riding where i have to be 50"s
