Re: Power Commander 3 for a Polaris RZR
Cool, i'll give him a call in the morning. I have the KMS intake and a Gibson exhaust that i have not installed yet. I am kind worried about running both of those together without a fuel controller. I am going to Pismo Dunes(sea level) on Saturday and would like to try the new exhaust if i can get a controller before then. If not no biggie, i'll install the exhaust later

the stock rzr is setup to be rich from the factory. you might be perfect just where the rzr is setup at. call KMS tomorrow and ask.

Re: Power Commander 3 for a Polaris RZR
Actually i asked them about it when i bought the KMS intake and he could not give me an answer if it would be ok or not. My only worry is i will be at sea level in 60-70 deg weather and am worried about it running lean. I would hate to install the exhaust and have the RZR show signs of running lean and waste a whole day of riding. Hotride4u is a little over an hour south of me and when i emailed them they have the reprogrammed ECU in stock. Just not sure if i want to spend 399.00 on a ECU upgrade over a power commander 3 ??

go with the power commander. you can change the fuel map whenever you want, its not fixed.

Re: Power Commander 3 for a Polaris RZR
I went ahead and installed the exhaust this afternoon. Sounds great!! I'll see how it runs at Pismo Dunes and pick up a Power Commander instead of going the ECU route.
