best way s to weld it, but all you need to make sure they dont slide out.

I would rather weld them in but will have to borrow a trailer to take it to work.
My toyhauler is too big unless the students are gone.

Can the bottom skid plate just be dropped at the rear or does it have to come all the way off?

lift it up and with a 3/8 socket you can remore the factory skid plates installing you front tubes. on the rear instead of fighting my brake line bolts I just slid in nice and smooth until I reached the bolt and WHAM with a hammer quick hard and fast, brake line still bolted in tapped gently in to place and put a few welds on everything to keep in place. piece of cake.

just hope your factory skid isnt destroyed like mine was....and as far as bolts.....i got two out with a socket,,,,the rest snapped and out came the drill.....
