Question about FullBore Plastics

Good morning,
Can you give me a brief rundown on a few questions I have for the FullBore Plastics?

Are they compatible with the Gen3 models? I read somewhere on a vendors site that the older ones are only compatible with the 4 screw down style hoods. Mine has the two latches on the top, not the 4 screw town type. Do they make them with the two latch style now?

Do I have to do all the cutting for the speedometer and switches? Or do they come precut from the factory?

Thanks in advance,
-Ron

The gauge holes are all pre-cut.

I have a gen 2, and have the Fullbore plastics on mine. Not sure about what the differences would be for a gen 3.

Re: Question about FullBore Plastics

Crowdog,
The Gen3 has two tabs on the top, and the older models have the 4 Screws. Does yours have the two turn tabs on the top of the hood, or the 4 screws in all 4 corners?

Re: Question about FullBore Plastics

Where do you live? For 2Gs they better come pre cut. Another option you might want to consider is a company out of Grass Valley CA is supposed to be making plastics for like $600 or $700 a set. This was a rumor I heard from Papaglock. Papaglock can you post the details of that company.
